  1. Hi! I have both of your books so far and love them of course! You’re my PHD role model, and I love your recipes! I just noticed the special offer code written inside the safe starch ebook (to get a discount on the Paleo Takeout book). Where do I enter this code? Is it for pre-ordering the paperback on Amazon? Looking forward to the release!

    1. Hi Marisa, glad you like the books! Since Paleo Takeout became a print book, I no longer have control over the pricing for the book. So in order to make it up to those that bought The Safe Starch Cookbook, I sent everyone a 13-recipe preview book of Paleo Takeout on March 1st (more info here: https://thedomesticman.com/cookbooks/the-safe-starch-cookbook/). Did you not get that email? If not, send me an email at thedomesticman@gmail.com and I’ll get it to you!

  4. I just cooked Kung Pao Pork. It was wonderful. I purchased a new wok to make some of your dishes in Paleo Takeout. I tried the General Tso’s Chicken and Mongolian Beef but it did not get dark enough. I now know I did not have the wok hot enough. Takes getting used to. It is electric. They both tasted good though. Can’t wait to try more dishes.

  5. I am going to have to purchase the Paleo takeout cook book! With 3 kids I don’t enjoy going out to eat all that much because it tends to be more stressful, but it would be nice to have the fabulous tastes of takeout every now and again!

  6. Read the Safe Starch Book last night. What made the Whole 30 possible for me was the inclusion of white potatoes. A lot of recipes I am planning to try. Since coming off the Whole 30, I’ve found that one issue I have is with gluten sensitivity, but white rice and corn do not bother, even popcorn doesn’t cause issues.

  9. Hi, Which of your cookbooks has more easy to prepare recipes? With 5 kids, preparation time is limited most evenings. Thanks, Mike

    1. Hi Mike, Paleo Takeout is the clear winner in terms of preparation time. Most recipes were developed with a one-hour-or-less cooking time, and there is a guide in the back to highlight which recipes can be made in under 30 minutes, which can be made in under an hour, which can be made in bulk and frozen, and which taste best when marinated overnight.

  10. Got the book – some great recipes in there I got quite excited about. Unfortunately your ingredients lists use US Cups as the measurements – is there a UK/European version using standard weights/volume that I’ve missed in my eagerness?

  11. Awesome work buddy! I love that you’re not only creating your own recipes, and sharing them via this blog, but you’re getting into creating cook books. Truly inspiring mate. I am an ex chef myself, and it’s great to see people being creative in this industry in new ways. Kudos to you and keep up the good work!
